Kels Cordare- cello, violin, vocals, looping + Kristen Ford = evrgrn

Evrgrn creates experimental indie-folk with tight harmonies, stellar musicianship, and pedals galore. Kristen Ford met Kels Cordare on tour in 2016 in Asheville when Kels was touring nearly 200 dates a year with the group Von Strantz (Eddies Attic grand prize winners) and Kfo still deep into the "Neverending Tour". The two struck up a friendship which turned into a musical connection, together they were part of the Nashville rock outfit Fame & Fiction, touring multiple states, selling out the Basement East, and recording in the group. Kfo left the band in 2017 but their friendship endured, in 2019 the pair recorded their debut EP, "Evrgrn" thus launching this new project. Several tours and recordings later, the pair continue to write, record, and push the boundaries of live performance, playing original Kristen Ford songs in the way only Evrgrn can, as well as cover songs from Fleetwood Mac, Robyn, Tom Petty, Annie Lennox, and Radiohead. Based in Nashville and Atlanta, Evrgrn is comfortable from 3-hour bar gigs to glitter-filled nightclubs to festival stages. They have composed songs for Film, TV, and Short Films (Valentine Crush, Deployed). "One woman quartet" Kels is an accomplished player on cello, bass, guitar, and violin and has worked with dozens of artists from black metal solos to string quartet pop instrumentals. Their latest EP "Boxing Day" was released in late 2020.
